so often, actually, daily, I head over to and check out what tv shows, documentaries, new music, important sporting events and so on they have for me to relax on my bed and enjoy. most often their high quality official divx web player mirrors work but if they dont, and you want to watch it THAT BAD, they usually always put up an alternative FLASH version on Megavideo. Of course, you can see all the tricks on my past blogs to get by the time limit, download in high quality at high speed and so on(links below). Here is a small tutorial for those of you who just “dont get it”.

#1 go to

#2 click on the banner of the movie, tv show, or whatever it is you want to see

#3 at the bottom of the screen you should see the title of whatever you picked and under it, a webplayer like the one shown below… if you DONT, HEAD OVER TO and install their FREE codec and webplayer, if you already have a divx codec installed and you know what you are doing, just install the webplayer and move with it. Once you get this player to come up, go to next step…

#4 open the security applet (if you have a problem getting the security module running, make sure you got java installed, its required). it is located right below the big text that says “NINJAVIDEO HELPER” and then the top link, that reads, “Click here to launch the NinjaVideo Helper Beta 0.3.7″ example below…long_live_p1

#5 HIT PLAY! (if 10-15 minutes go by and nothing happens,  you might want to try later, or click on the “Click Here for Alternate Link” link above the video and watch it on megavideo, but there are limits and quality is shitty, below are links to overcome this…

  2. i have been an avid user of ninjavideo for a while…. a buddy of mine redid my computer and now i cant get the beta helper to connect i have the recent java and the divx web player the window pops up and says PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    What you can try:
    Diagnose Connection Problems

    More information

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

    Internet connectivity has been lost.
    The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website’s domain.
There might be a typing error in the address.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

    For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
    To view subscribed feeds

Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.

  3. “… they usually always put up …”
i think you need to make up your mind on this one – usually or always?

  4. To the point. No matter what movie I pick to watch, instead of the Divx player, I get this message,”Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”. I have the K-lite codec pack and I still can’t get a connection. I even check my fireall to see if that was blocking the site. Nothing is working. If anyone has any idea on what I ca do, please let me know. I’m missing my shows…lol Thank you.

  6. Hello darling, great blog! I really appreciate this blog post.. I was wondering about this for a long time now. This cleared a lot up for me! Do you have a rss feed that I can add?

  7. I have been a regular user of ninja video for a while now but as of 2 days ago I cannot view any file (divx, mirrors, flash) through the main site or the beta site. I use windows 7 and have tried through chrome, firefox and IE. On the main site I get connection problems message and on the beta site it says video is not divx (hmmm?!). I have tried other divx sites which work fine for movies but cant watch anything from megavideo either… This is all mighty confusing and frustrating!! Is it me or is the site down?

Please help… I need my ninja!!!

  8. I have the same problem as Ryan. For the last few days the ninja video applet won’t go online. I’ve managed to watch on megavideo but really like to download from ninja. Another problem I’m having is that when i try to go into the java main console to try to change settings it just won’t open for me either. I may have a heart attack if ninja isn’t working for me by the time Lost airs on Tuesday.

  9. I have the same problems… My buddies are all watching away (they have apples) and my powerhouse PC wont open up the helper. Window comes up with big red X. So when you hit play on what you want, like you folks, I get the cannot connect to internet in the window. SUXS!!! So I hope the show is listed under Flash, watch on Mega, and after 75 minutes Im screwed. Anybody want to answer this dilema already. Thanks

  10. I would do the following. Remove any kind of codec off your machine, or codec package (k-lite, vistacodecpack, win7codec, divx, everything….) restart, go to, download k-lite codec pack, restart, and then install this exact version of Divx Webplayer

reboot, and that should do it..

if you are having problems with the ONLINE window, or the window now coming up still, remove java, reboot, and re-install as well.

  11. Ninja Video “IE cant display” FIX.

You obviously need divx web player. You also need JAVA installed on your pc.

    Works for me

  12. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it does not disappoint me as much as this particular one.

I mean, I know it was my choice to read through, nonetheless I
truly thought you’d have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something you can fix if you were not too busy looking for attention.
